I did the Eternal Grove and beat it on the first try. I was an MM(GuildWiki assured me there'd be exploitable corpses) and had Master of Whispers as an MM. We held our gates easily and I only missed Masters because I'd never done Eternal Grove before and underestimated the power of the siege turtles.

2 man 6 heroes on HM eternal grove was awesome. I tried 2 pugs that failed, then I joined a guild group that had healing breeze and mending monk, and they kicked me for complaining instead of their guild monk o.O

Yes, I agree. Heros have been a godsend to me. There's really no best moment that I've had.

HA 6v6 heroway was the shit. Sure it was lame to face and pretty much killed HA at the time, but it was still fun as hell to play. Not that anyone outside of ToA cared about favor, but there was something amusing about grabbing a friend and taking it.

In pve, it was always somewhat fun failing something miserably with a pug and then finishing it quickly and easily with h&h. The only specific incident which comes to mind was way back in 2005 when THK was "impossible". Like most people, tried pugging it a half dozen times, with no luck. Henched it, camped the king, and ended up flawlessing it easily. With heroes, Eternal Grove was pretty fun, flagging a hero split ftw.

My favorite thing of all is when I'm H/Hing, need to pull, and forgot to bring a longbow. I call it Koss Fishin'. Stand safely back, flag Koss within aggro range of something, then flag him back and watch the good times roll. He's only died once that way from a nasty spiker I didn't see, but it was well away from bringing the mob on my head. All I had to do was jog over and Rebirth.

Koss reels 'em in so nicely for me. It's not efficient at all, but it sure is fun.

i was Vanquishing one day, i used consumables and all..

accidently aggroed 3 groups, thought i was dead, 2 heros fell to the floor in seconds, i got pissed off, minimized and browsed guru, thinking il try again in a bit.

later open gw bk up, all hero/hench are alive and the 3 mobs are dead.

Rage quitting FTW!

I actually don't remember a single precious moment with heroes. They are just some bastards that take my abuse when I am too proud to admit I screwed up!

I love my heroes. I took my Dervish through Prophecies with them and beat the game without having to PUG even once.

I was vanquishing gyala hatchery with 2 minion master heroes... a guy was afk at the shrine because he gave me money to vanquish few maps for him... he had a vamp weapon on him but the luxon priest kept healing, so basicly if i die it's game over, we wouldnt rez at any shrine
i wanted to earn as many luxon points as i could so when i saw jaqui aggroing whyk and start fighting i was like "OMG don't die jaqui my friend here i come" i aggroed jaqui, whyk and their pals, with reefclaw still chasing me and attacking my minions behind, more outcasts came from behind aswell as 3 additional leviathans + 1 scuttle fish. we literaly had 20-25 foes + 3 bosses on us.
it was pretty much a deathmatch, jaqui fighting reefclaw, outcasts fighting leviathans, those jellyfish spamming binding chain on anyone, scuttle fishes doing loads of dmg to whoever in their ways with balthazar aura... and ofc me and all h/h in the middle... really a disaster
thanks to heroes, and "save yourself!" i guess, i managed to take them all down and earn the full 250x3 points for killing the 3 bosses myself. loved that moment

best gw moment ever to me

Where to start . . . I love when I can tap two keys on my keyboard and Jin runs halfway across the map to pull a group to me. I love the fact that Heroes actually know how to HEAL, I love the fact that Heroes listen. I love the fact that they don't have to answer the phone, or take a piss, or or . . .I really love the fact that compared to real players their AI is flawless.

Though General Morgan does this weird posturing thing, like he's still in charge or something. . . and Jora keeps bumping me in the head with her steel clad triple Ds.

With heroes I succeed where most pugs and even some organized teams fail. That's some pretty good experience imo.

Best experience is, when they don't steal my drops.

Also Heros> players
Even the players that use them.

Also, one time we were HAing and we needed a Monk, so we pugged Bowser (r13 Monk), he failed hard and we kicked him, replaced him with Odgen and held halls thrice, our secondary healer dropping out after the first hold.

While Heroes are not perfect, are are always at least 100 000 000 000 billion times better than PUGs will ever be.

When compared to PUGs, there is no comparison at all. Best experience with Heroes is all of them that don't have any PUG players in them.
